Politicians have fed the equally guilty press a blame shifting narrative that the deadly waves of infections from the coronavirus is primarily the result of personal behavior. In fact, the worldwide spread of coronavirus is the direct result of the poor job of public servants worldwide. The United States is no different, and it is NOT just Trump.

As the federal government demonstrated inaction and indifference, and state and local governments demonstrated their lack of preparation for a medical catastrophe. The co-conspiring press, politicians, and government bureaucrats gaslighted the public with how to wash your hands and how to properly wear your mask videos. The public was drowned in lectures on social distancing, sanitation like hand washing, and personal protection equipment for the masses such as wearing masks, gloves, and a bubble if you have one. We stop the spread by behaving differently — no shit! But what about your job duties?

Very simply the government failed us during this pandemic by initially not having reserves of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), respirators and years of allowing the healthcare industry to split medical rooms with curtains and reduce capacity. The government also allowed the food, agricultural, and restaurant industries to poison our bodies with sugar, artificial preservatives…
